Eric Maria Sargenti

Our colleague Eric Maria Sargenti was born in Nogara (Verona) in 1971 and received a surveying diploma in 1990 in Legnago (Verona) from the “M. Ricci” Technical School.

He has been working at Rubner since 17 January 2000 as a work site supervisor. In that role, he has been responsible for work sites in almost every region in Italy.

In regard to his work at Rubner, Eric highlights the pleasure of working with wood. The Company's precision, professionalism and passion for wood match his sentiments, and this perfect combination has led him to work uninterruptedly for over 14 years for the Rubner Group company, a leader in the laminated timber construction sector.

Talking with Eric, it is quite clear what ties him to Rubner: his “passion for wood” and precision at work.

In addition, Eric's words demonstrate the great respect he has for his co-workers. He believes it is a privilege to have worked, and to continue to work, with the professionals that he has found at Rubner Holzbau, and we know that this esteem is reciprocated.
Eric is also the work site supervisor for the “CL1-East” Pavilions for the 2015 Universal Exposition.

He organises and manages the work of the people at the work site (an average of 35-38 people), as well as supervising supplies of both materials and equipment (tower cranes and aerial work platforms).

He likes the intrinsic “challenge” of this work site best of all – carrying out detailed and highly developed work over a large area, in the short time available for execution.
A “challenge” that requires organisation and a “works schedule” that is not often seen on other work sites, beyond the objective complexity of managing many people and a large amount of equipment at the same time in this area.

In his free time, Eric devotes his time to his family: his wife Elena, their daughter Sofia, and their dog. All four of them love to spend time outdoors, playing, gardening and taking walks.
Driving is another one of Eric's passions: despite the fact that he drives more than 100,000 km per year for work, driving his car or his motorcycle during his free time relaxes him.
